Annelise Rosas, Founder
Hi there! I’m Annelise, owner and founder of Annebrije Pottery Studio. For years I’ve dreamed of opening a studio in my hometown of Brownsville where people can learn how to do pottery. Whether it’s for a night of fun or a new hobby you’d like to learn. We’re located on 704 Paredes and we’re excited to have you all soon. All are welcome.
Marlon, Studio Assistant
Hi! My name is Marlon, I started as a resident artist at Annebrije Pottery Studio and became a permanent employee since. I specialize in fixing any technical issue in the kiln room. I love teaching beginner wheel throwing on Saturdays and fun gothic workshops when I get the chance.
Sarah, Resident Artist
Hi! My name is Sarah, and I’m from Brownsville, Texas. I started learning pottery while studying art in college and continued growing through hands-on learning and mentorship with the resident artists and owner at Annebrije Pottery Studio. In the classes I teach, I love sharing foundational techniques while encouraging students to slow down, try new things, and enjoy the process. Outside of ceramics, I enjoy spending time with family and finding joy in the little things. You can take my beginner wheel class on Wednesdays and beginner hand-building class on Fridays
Yvette, Resident Artist
Hi there! My name is Yvette, I was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas! I learned pottery while I was studying Art Education at UTRGV. I am a certified Art Teacher in the state of Texas but while I was in college I learned about different pottery techniques that I like to incorporate in the classes that I teach. Apart from Art some of the things I love to do is spend time with my friends, my family and my chihuahuas! You can take my beginner wheel class on Sundays at 1PM.
